BlackFunds is a socially-conscious Giving Circle created on the principle of Collective Impact through Collective Giving. Formed in 2020, BlackFunds was inspired by four Black women who recognized that their charitable funds, when combined, would have a greater impact on recipients than if each person continued charitable giving as an individual pursuit. 

With the understanding that the value generated by pooling our financial resources outweighs our individual efforts, we formed BlackFunds to aggregate our contributions, coalesce and streamline our philanthropic endeavors, and distribute our funds in the form of donations and grants. 

BlackFunds serves and supports Black-led organizations, Black-owned businesses, and Black individuals committed to the empowerment and enrichment of Black people and communities that are seeking to improve their socio-economic status in society.
